Precise clamps are important components of vacuum insulated low-temperature pipeline systems. It can ensure a tight connection between internal and external pipelines, minimize heat transfer, and maintain the required low-temperature environment. By reducing heat conduction, it optimizes insulation performance and acts as a barrier, creating a vacuum sealed space that minimizes heat transfer through conduction, convection, and radiation.
In addition, the precise bayonet design prevents leakage and provides precise metal to metal sealing, minimizing the risk of low-temperature fluid leakage. Other advantages include not requiring elastic O-rings or PTFE gaskets as sealing materials at low temperatures. Due to the unfavorable thermal expansion coefficient of these two materials at low temperatures, they are essentially not suitable for low-temperature use. Elastic O-rings become brittle at low temperatures and lose their sealing performance. The main root cause of low-temperature fluid pollution is the light shielding of ruptured O-rings or polytetrafluoroethylene materials, which can cause blockages and malfunctions in downstream instruments and equipment.
